1992–2000
Engage in Adventure
After completing my engineering studies, I was drawn to Eastern Europe, where I worked for a while and gained a lot of interesting experience, initially without even mastering the local languages. I found my first permanent assignment as a process engineer in a small Czech town near the Polish border. After three years, I returned to my home country and obtained another degree in chemical engineering. Following the call of the world, I worked as a project engineer on a dredging platform that braved the rough waves of the Irish Sea. Later, I became involved in a cultural organization supporting socially disadvantaged people whilst contributing in the renovation of our historical building.
2000–2007
Chemical Engineering
From 2000 onwards, I spent over two decades in the chemical industry, first as a process engineer, later in occupational and process safety. Our move to the Leipzig region in 2007 made my family very happy; thanks to my wife, we all settled well into the small village that is now our loving home.
2007–2024
Industrial Leadership
In Germany, I took on operational management of chemical production sites, with a focus on leadership development, generational change, and corporate strategic alignment in a global environment.
Today
RFRERE Consulting
Finally, I decided to establish my own business, allowing customers to tap into my professional and life experience.
